What helps us help you

  • Your iPhone model and iOS version.
  • The WakeMove version (Settings → Support).
  • What you expected and what happened, with the time of the alarm if one was involved.
  • For purchases: the plan you bought and whether Restore Purchases was tried. Never send receipts with full card numbers.

Common questions

The alarm did not ring, or rang quietly.

Check that alarms are allowed for WakeMove in iOS Settings, that the ringer volume is up, and that the alarm is switched on with the right days. WakeMove rings through iOS, so a device that is off, restarting or out of battery cannot ring. Keep a separate alarm for anything important; WakeMove is not an emergency system.

How do Missions and the 30-minute limit work?

When the alarm rings you open WakeMove and complete the Mission you chose: Walking, push-ups, squats or a hold such as a plank or wall sit. The iPhone counts repetitions with the camera or steps with motion data. You have 30 minutes from the wake-up time; missing it records a failure and, if you enabled one, schedules the Penalty Alarm. The limit does not stop the alarm by itself: finish the steps shown on screen.

Camera detection does not count my repetitions.

Place the phone where your whole body is visible, in good light, and follow the positioning guide. Loose clothing, backlight, a partially visible body and very fast movements lower the detection rate. Side-view push-ups and a steady camera help. Detection is an estimate, not a judgement of your form.

What are Wake Checks?

Wake Checks are extra alarms at times you set after the wake-up time, so that finishing the Mission and lying back down does not end the morning. They ring only once the Mission is done and have no Mission of their own. Stop each check when it rings, or skip the remaining ones for today.

I cannot turn off the Penalty Alarm.

That is by design. The Penalty Alarm is optional, but once a failed Mission has scheduled it, it rings at a hidden time inside a 3–5-hour window between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM and cannot be cancelled from the alarm settings; clear it through its own alarm screen. Hard Mode stays on until then. Turn the Penalty Alarm off in the alarm's settings before a day when an unexpected alarm would be a problem.

Focus Mode is still blocking apps after I turned the alarm off.

Once a Focus Mode window has started, blocking continues until its end time, even if you turn off or delete the alarm. Shorten or remove the window in the alarm settings before it starts. Blocking uses Apple's Screen Time permission; removing that permission in iOS Settings also ends it.

What is free and what needs Pro?

Free alarms have one Mission; Walking is fully available, the camera exercises run as short demos, and Focus Mode blocks one app. Pro unlocks the full exercises with your own targets, up to 5 Missions per alarm, up to 50 blocked apps, backup to your account and an ad-free app. Plans, prices and free-trial eligibility are shown in the app.

How do I cancel a trial or subscription?

In iOS, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, choose WakeMove and cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or the current period ends to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel. Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Pro is not active after buying or reinstalling.

Open the Pro screen and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with. If you use a WakeMove account, sign in to it as well. If Pro still does not appear after a few minutes, email us with the plan and the date of purchase.

How do I delete my account or my data?

Settings → Account → Delete Account removes your sign-in and the backup stored in your account; it does not cancel a subscription and does not delete anything on your iPhone. Deleting the app removes the data on the device. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Can I change the ads I see?

Ads appear only in the free version, on the Home screen and the result screen. Where a consent form applies, change your choice under Settings → Support → Ad privacy options. Pro has no ads.
